Thank you for your interest in Atlanta Judo Midtown’s Strong & Stable program. To ensure a safe and productive environment for all participants, we require everyone enrolling in this class to review and confirm that they meet the physical health standards outlined below.
Minimum Physical Requirement
All participants must be able to get up off the ground without assistance. This is the only mandatory physical requirement for enrollment in the Strong & Stable program.
Additional Health Considerations
While the following conditions do not disqualify you from participation, we ask that you reflect on your current health and, if applicable, consult your healthcare provider before beginning the program:
- Chest pain, tightness, or pressure during physical activity (e.g., walking, climbing stairs, household tasks)
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Joint or muscle pain, stiffness, or swelling that limits movement
- Frequent falls, unsteadiness, or the use of assistive devices for standing or walking
- High blood pressure or cardiovascular concerns
- Any other medical condition that may affect your ability to safely participate in a physical activity program
